Anastasia Perrotta

BSc Student

University of Groningen

Anastasia is a third year Astronomy student at the University of Groningen. She currently has an interest in exoplanets, and will be pursuing a bachelor thesis on the topic. Her research aims to establish criteria for suitable exoplanet target selection, with the purpose of atmospheric analysis using eclipse. The additional complexity in developing metrics for observing atmospheres in eclipse as opposed to transit is what has drawn Anastasia to this project. Alongside this work, she is completing the final courses of her bachelors and working as a teacher assistant in Calculus I, Calculus II, and Programming & Image Processing. She is always looking to meet new people in related and different fields of research to learn more about their work and orient herself academically.
