Mariasole is a Master’s student in Astronomy. She is interested in the characterisation of planetary atmospheres through atmospheric retrievals, and astronomical instrumentation. Her recent work has been focusing on the characterisation of the atmosphere of WASP-39 b with the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), exploring new possible interpretations of the atmosphere of the exoplanet when accounting for chemical disequilibrium processes, limb asymmetries, and instrumental systematics.
